- Position: Maintenance Project Manager
- Location: Jacksonville, Florida
- Description: The ideal candidate for the Maintenance Project Manager position will be professional, disciplined, highly productive, and responsive to the needs of the company, employees, and customers. This position will be primarily responsible for the management and quality assurance oversight of the efforts of subcontractors performing modifications to Tactical Air and contracted government aircraft. Specific duties will include management and accountability for Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) at various work sites and locations, ensuring compliance with DCMA and company instructions and maintenance program requirements as well as monitoring the accuracy of modification specification implementation. This position will oversee modification to government maintenance manuals and will serve as final approving authority for modification installation instructions and updating technical publications. - Experience: Must be experienced with tactical aircraft maintenance management and aviation maintenance programs and processes, with a background in project management, organization, and leadership. Passion or preference for aviation industry and familiarity with military or federal contractors advantageous.
- Education / Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Maintenance, Project Management, Industrial Security, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred. Valid state driver license. Project Planning or Management Certification preferred. Equivalent combination of training, education, and experience in relevant field or industry will be considered in lieu of degree.
- Clearance: Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. Must be able to attain appropriate security clearance in support of operations. Must submit to background check and pre-employment drug screening and DOT/DCMA physical certifications. This position will require frequent travel to various work sites throughout the U.S.
