As our sole human resources representative, the People & Culture Manager is responsible for recruiting, talent management, employee engagement, leadership & development, compliance, and employee benefits. Working across multiple service groups and branch offices, the principal function of this position is to provide experienced guidance to the senior leadership team and first-class service to employees.

The P&C Manager will assist the organization as necessary to accomplish the mission through work in several areas.

  • Manage the recruiting and on-boarding life cycle for all locations
  • Counsel employees and managers on the company vision and policies to ensure an effective work environment
  • Manage compensation research, ranges, grades, promotions, merit increases, and new hire offers
  • Ensure policies and procedures follow all federal, local, and state regulations including Affirmative Action Planning
  • Oversee the open enrollment process with the VP of Finance and insurance broker
  • Lead monthly town-hall meetings and brief staff on people updates, programs, and policies
  • Lead and plan employee social outreach and employee engagement activities
  • Organize and administer the talent management process including reviews and follow up meetings with the President
  • Design and implement new programs to support recruiting, retention, and employee development, including internal culture branding, summer internship program, and leadership development projects

 

Do you meet these requirements?

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources or other closely related field
  • Experience: 8+ years of human resources generalist or manager experience, preferably in a professional services firm
  • PHR or SPHR; SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred
  • Ability to handle difficult/urgent situations and conversations, working well under pressure while maintaining professional rapport and confidentiality
  • Proven team player but also able to operate independently
  • Experience complying with federal Affirmative Action Plans and Equal Opportunity Employers
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills
  • Commitment to continued learning and keeping up on regulatory changes/requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of Paycom preferred
