The Aviation Operations Director develops plans and schedules for skill development and training for pilots, crews, and operators. Directs overall aviation operations focused on operational efficiency and compliance with regulatory and organizational operating policies, procedures, and standards. Being an Aviation Operations Director oversees flight scheduling, aircraft maintenance, and inspection operations. Ensures all operations follow and comply with current FAA regulations, airworthiness, and safety standards.
