The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) has retail credit examiner/specialist opportunities in the Large Bank Supervision Department, the Midsize and Community Bank Supervision Department, and at OCC Headquarters in the Bank Supervision Policy Department.

Required at this level include those identified in Level IV plus the ability to plan, direct and coordinate the activities of other Consumer Credit Examiners.

Retail credit examiners/specialists review national banks’ and federal savings associations’ consumer lending portfolios, and evaluate policies, processes, and risk management practices associated with those portfolios.
