Job Description Job Description Job description The purpose of the pharmacy technician is to assist the pharmacist with the day-to-day activities in the pharmacy, under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, shall be responsible for dispensing medical prescriptions, verifying stock and entering data in the computer system to maintain inventory records, receiving and storage of incoming supplies. The pharmacy technician will be expected to perform some clerical duties in the pharmacy. The technician will also be responsible for the review of clinical notes for accuracy and submission to accounting for payment, auditing patient charts, and other clinical tasks as needed. The pharmacy technician will be responsible for such other duties as requested by management.
