NOC Technician: The Select Group is looking for a NOC Technician for one of their top telecommunication clients. This is going to be a long-term contract, located in Austin, TX. The shift will be Sunday – Wednesday, 12:30 pm – 11:00 pm CST. NOC Technician Requirements: Prior Networking experience - experience working in a NOC environment Telecom/Internet Service Provider experience (highly preferred!) Strong Networking knowledge: Cisco-based commands OSI Model Routing protocols High speed data, digital video, VOD, switch, LAN/WAN networking Knowledge/experience providing technical network support, network surveillance/monitoring, and troubleshooting hardware, software, voice/data communication systems, etc. Interpersonal communicator with effective issue resolution, critical thinking, and time management skills.
