Family Health Center Pediatric Attending, Saint Joseph’s Medical Center, Yonkers NY The Family Health Center Pediatric Attending, is responsible for providing direct patient care of children from age’s newborn through adolescence, as well as young adults. Diagnose and treat conditions specific to young children and young adults and treat illnesses, care for minor injuries, and treat infectious disease. The Pediatrician will maintain accurate medical records of the physical, behavioral, and mental health in young patients, and address concerns and issues. Monitor patients’ growth and developmental milestones, advise parents and guardians on their children’s health, safety, and nutritional needs, as well as fitness goals. Clinical supervision of Family Medicine residents on rotation with the pediatrician in the Family Health Center. Participates in hospital committee for quality and pediatric project initiatives.
