About Carriage Trade
Carriage Trade was founded in 1969 by Dom Conicelli as a small used car lot that was contracted by banks to store repossessed vehicles. Dom had the idea to auction these vehicles to the public as well as to dealers. By offering the vehicle to both dealers and the public, the banks could maximize the amount of money they received for their vehicles. Carriage Trade's inaugural sale was held in 1977
