May communicate with field agents to gather additional information or to explain underwriting decisions. Additionally, Underwriter (P/C) IV typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. May require certification as a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU). Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Underwriter (P/C) IV work is highly independent.
