Our Rapid Prototyping Team (RPT) is a part of our Global Innovation Program supporting innovation initiatives by embracing a “fail fast” mentality, and quickly developing functional prototypes for a variety of use cases leveraging a vast technology ecosystem. The Solution Architect reports to our Global Innovation Leader and will be an integral component to realizing our innovation mission and will be responsible for architecting software solutions.  You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be comfortable following the uncharted path, and embrace and encourage agile values, principles, and practices. You will use your exceptional interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and leadership to collaborate across practice and solution areas and produce exceptional work.   What You Will Be Doing: Collaborating with various stakeholders to identify and right-size opportunities for technical innovation, using both proven and the latest emerging technologies Communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders as the technical expert for the rapid prototyping team Evaluating technical feasibility of high-level business concepts, distilling the concepts into actionable prototyping plans Providing technical leadership and oversight for the rapid prototyping team Developing recommended architectures and platforms to support prototype requirements Prioritizing technical capabilities for inclusion in rapid prototyping Providing hands-on support to assist in prototype development as needed Learning new technology stacks and emerging technology offerings Coordinating with product owners and business owners to strategize on operational support for prototypes post-POC What Will Help You Be Successful: You enjoy learning and can quickly ramp up on new technology You are passionate about technology and skilled in rapid application development You enjoy discussing technical and industry trends and seek opportunities to demonstrate and teach seniors and staff on the job You participate in the initiation and development of new products and services You thrive in flexible environments and are a self-starter You make conscious use of real-time supervision during all phases of innovation development to develop our people You have an inherent interest in project management and team leadership. Experience with cloud technologies including platforms, infrastructure, software, etc., as a service and enterprise-scale systems in public clouds (Azure, AWS, GCP) Experience working across a broad spectrum of technology application (i.e., platform modernization, mobile app development, data warehousing, etc.) Experience with technology strategy including strategy definition and development, portfolio review/management, business case development, etc. Experience converting business requirements to designs and user stories Experience working in an Agile environment Hands-on coding experience in developing solutions and/or POCs leveraging open sources frameworks Experience with various database technologies (Oracle, SQL Server, Access) Basic knowledge of one or more development languages and SQL  Knowledge of application security best practices Working knowledge of development and operations (including DevOps), process design, and tools/software Ability to network and build relationships Your Educational and Professional Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. MIS, CIS) required 8 years in a related field required; preferably in professional services and/or industry Technology-specific certifications around Microsoft Certified Solution Architect, Amazon Web Services, etc. are a plus For NYC offices, the anticipated salary range is $131,700 to $210,700 with placement in the range depending on skills, experience and work location.
