A leading Diagnostic Laboratory is seeking a Laboratory Data Coordinator to join the team!
Description:
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
• Receives, sorts, and performs accurate data entry for all specimens entering the laboratory.
• Open packages to verify information on the requisition form with information on the collection container for accuracy
• Capturing data entry of specimen information into the computer data bases systems (LIMS and Bioinvenotry)
• Entering necessary data/tracking accurately in multiple laboratory information management systems.
• Responsible for documentation within the electronic master file (uploading/completing documents and use of document exchange portals including conduct of completeness checks)
• Keeps up with multiple project protocols and requirements
• Examining specimens adequacy for processing
• Labeling and measuring volumes for specimen samples
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Qualifications:
** Bachelor Degree in the Sciences (Biology Preferred)
** Strong Data entry skills (typing - no test required)
