Acton Academy is looking for a front office manager 2 days, possibly increasing to 3 or 4 days come fall. We're looking for someone who is interested in exchanging 2 days a week (8:30-3:00) for full ride scholarship ($9,300) for your child to attend Acton Academy.

Acton is a student-driven, self-paced school that blends Montessori materials, outdoor play, state-of-the-art software, and hands-on projects, with real-world applications, Socratic discussions, and the Hero's Journey in a student-centered, multi- age classroom.

School begins mid August and is an 10.5-month program. We run on 4-7 week sessions with 1-2 week breaks between sessions. We are closed for six weeks in the summer (July and half of the month of August.)

Office manager responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Assist in event preparations

Oversee “board members” - students who operate a part of the school’s operation

Input new student’s information

Some designing on Canva and Wix

Keeping office clean

Possible grant writing

Occasional extra hand for preschool/kindergarten studio

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
