Position Summary:
Responsible for the development, maintenance and evolution of reporting tools for inventory management processes across the ADUSA Distribution network. Create key inventory management metrics that will drive continuous improvement of the inventory management processes across the ADUSA distribution network. Will work collaboratively with Accounting, Internal Audit, Demand Management, Category, Logistics/Transportation, Control Tower, Planning, and Industrial Engineers to ensure Supply Chain goals and initiatives are met or exceeded.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide management for day to day activities of Regional Inventory roles to guide the implementation of strategies and initiatives for Inventory Control and Planning impacting 20 regional Supply Chain Campuses.

Work collaboratively across departments to meet budgeted key performance metrics, which include, but are not limited to:
- Sales and Net Contribution metrics, inventory accuracy, over/short and shrink. These key performance metrics are meant to be comprehensive in nature, but are not limited to the list above due to changing nature of business priorities.
- Partner with Accounting and Supply Chain Senior Operational Leadership to ensure inventory key performance indicators are developed, analyzed and effectively reported.
- Direct and create best practices for reporting financial health and compliance of standards for the Inventory Management and receiving processes across the ADUSA distribution network.
- Set the standard for excellence of development, distribution, accuracy and frequency of reports to be used within the ADUSA distribution network. Key reports include, but are not limited to:
- Accounting, Internal Audit and SOX requirements:
- Cycle Counting requirements
- Invoice Matching
- Customer Credits
- Vendor Claims
- IM financial results:
- Over/Short
- Warehouse Damages
- Store Claims
- Inventory Trends
- Miscellaneous Loss
- Develop, maintain and evolve compliance programs to ensure consistent application of Standard Operating Procedures, across the network, to protect integrity and accurate valuation of assets.
- Responsible for the creation, maintenance and evolution of training programs for all distribution network associates on inventory management and receiving operations, to include: capacity management, holiday and expected peak planning as well as unplanned/storm events.
- Provide resources to maintain required procedures for all standard practices and procedures as it relates to inventory management. Work closely with documentation resources to keep current and up to date records.
- Serve as the inventory control and planning expert internally and externally on inventory management principles.
- Provide leadership that will motivate employees and function as an effective promoter of change and growth.

Provide support for the implementation of a continuous improvement culture
- Create new methods and procedures based on industry best practices, trends and best in class external benchmarking.
- Act as a supply chain leader to identify opportunities that drive out cost and improve service within the network.
- Responsible for the development, talent planning and performance management of associates.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Detailed understanding of end to end supply chain operations
- Advanced understanding of large-scale grocery inventory best practices and metrics
- Advanced MS Excel
- Excellent organizational, planning, influence, communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and persuasive in presenting and selling ideas and executing their implementation
- Ability to manage day to day activity in support of identified business area and functional area strategies

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
- 6-8 years Grocery Supply Chain experience
- 5 years Inventory Management/Control experience
