AFC Industries seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician to join our team. We are a recognized leader in the design and manufacture of Ergonomic Interactive Technical products for various industries.
Our customers include Medical/Healthcare, Public Safety/Mission Control, All Government Agencies, IT and Cleanroom Ergonomic Products.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the facility and all manufacturing equipment is maintained and operating in order to facilitate production schedules. The role be required to perform a wide range of repair tasks around a facility.
- Performing routine maintenance in and around the facility and for all equipment
- Applying preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems
- Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
- Manage routine maintenance and emergency repairs to prevent and resolve safety or comfort issues.
- Install new equipment and oversee building upgrades according to management requests and to preserve the facility.
Required Skills:
- A significant knowledge base, practical experience, and problem-solving abilities in:
- Manufacturing equipment repair and maintenance (including press brakes, laser cutters, machining tools, and similar equipment)
- General facilities maintenance and repair (plumbing, heating, a/c, and electrical, and carpentry)
- Groundskeeping
- Other duties, as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum – high school diploma or GED
- Vocational training or similar education in electrical and equipment repair
- 4 years related experience in manufacturing environment
Hours and Compensation
- This is a full time, hourly position
Work hours:
- Other hours, as required, to work around production schedules and/ or respond to equipment failures or emergencies
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
