AKHIRE IS RECRUITING FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION:

Mechanic and Maintenance - Remote Lodge, AK - Seasonal

  • Type of Assignment: Temp
  • Duration: June 27th - August 31st
  • Hours: Full-time, 7 days per week
  • Start Date: June 29th
  • Pay Range: $3800- $4200 per month. (DOE)  includes room and board.  $1000 bonus once the season is completed.

Duties - Mechanic and Maintenance - Remote Lodge, AK - Seasonal

Able to help with the boat fleet, fuel boats and diesel generator, split firewood (w/ wood splitter), filet fish, help prepare food (cutting vegetables).

Beginning of the season: Prepare boats, engines, clean diesel tank, start generator, helping start water system, general maintenance of 15 buildings, check and repair copper-water lines,.

 

During the season: maintenance of boat engines, help cleaning boats, tank boat-tanks, unload gas and diesel barrels. Fill generator tank with diesel, maintain diesel generator, fixing buildings, maintain tractor and 4-Wheelers. Helping to change propane tanks when empty and helping guests with their luggage, shuttle them by Jet boat to and from the lodge to the float plane landing spot.

 

End of the season: cleaning boats, floating devices, etc. with pressure washer, shut down well system for winterizing, maintain buildings to winterize.



Requirements

This job is located at a remote lodge near Lake Creek. Flight will be provided to fly you to our remote lodge on June 27th and back to Anchorage on August 31st.
