Implements strategy, business and marketing plans for assigned accounts including market research, competitive intelligence, product positioning, product line evolution and product innovation. This role is focused on growth of an assigned territory that includes new account acquisition and share of wallet, typically higher focus on share of wallet. WHAT YOU GET TO DO Deliver strategic and sales goals including profitable year-over-year growth for assigned accounts. Increase business with existing and new accounts through prospecting and networking Opens new accounts, expands sales on existing accounts Possess a detailed knowledge of Amcor, our products, the industry and competitive market, enabling the business to solidify itself as an industry leader and fulfil Amcor’s Winning Aspiration to be the leading global packaging company Manage the complexities of account(s) in support of customer needs Build relationships with customers based upon trust and respect Orchestrate and lead key business negotiations, supporting Amcor’s interests demonstrating an ability to influence decision and actions Report and communicate current performance achievements in terms of sales and marketing contribution to the business unit for monthly management reporting Drive forecast accuracy for improved business results Manages accounts receivable as acceptable levels with assistance from the credit department Work with Strategic Marketing to identify, analyze and recommend actions to meet strategic unmet customer needs Build highly collaborative relationships between Amcor and your account/s to include: senior leadership, procurement, engineering, quality, operations, sales management, support teams, key Amcor global contacts etc. with a view of enhancing sales initiatives and profitably while meeting customer needs Responsible for the management of Account Planning, Pipeline management, profitability improvements, and churn management in CRM tool Coordinates Sales Management, R&D, Marketing and Field Service in support of validation trials and customer trials Communicates competitive developments in his/her account base regarding marketing strategies, pricing structures or product performance and communicates intelligence to management through the Monthly Report system Act as a safety leader and put safety first in all responsibilities, promoting an environment where each employee makes safety their first priority Demonstrate Amcor’s values – Safety, Integrity, Teamwork, Social Responsibility, and Innovation WHAT WE VALUE Leading Self: drive for results Leading Teams: influencing others (negotiating), interpersonal savvy Leading the Business: creativity, customer focus Operational Excellence WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU Education – Bachelor’s degree Experience – relevant experience in technical, sales and general management preferably within the packaging industry 1 years’ experience Proven track record of successful sales growth and profitability Experience with negotiations; strong influencing and persuasion skills The starting salary for this position is expected to be between $91,300 to $114,100; however, base pay offered may vary within the full salary range ($91,300 to $150,400) depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on national averages and a geographic differential may be applied based on work location. Position is also eligible for Amcor’s Sales Incentive Plan, which is an annual bonus program based on business and individual performance. Amcor Flexibles North America (AFNA) offers a comprehensive benefit package including medical/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, 401(k), wellness initiatives, Employee Assistance Program, and more. Annual paid vacation allotment starts at 80 hours for full-time salaried employees, prorated dependent on their start date. AFNA also offers 13 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
