SUMMARY OF POSITION: The National Account Manager is the primary relationship owner between Client-to-Company and Subcontractor-to-Company who serves the company by building relationships nationally with Subcontractor Partners and Clients while managing Quality Control of
Work, Estimating and Communication for various construction projects and service work
MAJOR ACTIVITIES:
- Helps clients and provides maximum value
- Reviews and Analyzes property roof inspections completed by off-site subcontract partners, clients and/or drone mapping to create recommended repair actions
- Assists in the creation of multi-property inspection reports for key clients and communicates the details to client executive level decision makers
- Utilize consultative selling skills to learn about the prospect/customer’s business and marketplace, the existing roofing maintenance and repair service needs of the business, and the decision maker’s individual, corporate and/or departmental needs to position company solutions as the answer to the existing needs
- Work with the Estimating Department to develop proposals for and sell responsible service and project work to Client base
- Manages and Coordinates work schedules in accordance with client schedules and database.
Gives guidance in the modification of work schedules to facilitate to client requests while keeping efficient productions schedules within quality conditions at maximum productive efficiency.
- Works with Industry and B2B Partners to provide technical or property reporting information for their clients as dictated by ongoing project partnerships
- Maintains costs within estimated project budgets
- Acts as the primary communication line between Client to Company
- Manages and coordinates the information flow or work for assigned Clients
- Provides technical and work order information for inquiring Clients, potential Clients, and field, subcontractor, or vendor personnel
- Recruits & Onboards Field Personnel & Subcontractors in multiple states as required by company’s sales
- Maintain Client density in work areas
- Maintain Subcontract Partner density in client property areas
- Works closely with Subcontractors and Crew Leaders to keep an open line of communication regarding quality performance
- Fosters a spirit of cooperation with all with whom it deals. Learns how to deal with people and their individual needs, attitudes, etc.
- Acquires and retains Clients
- Timely responds to all inquiries and proposal requests
- Anticipates Client needs with positive solutions timely effected; assists in the sales of change order work and contract extras
- Ensures pre-established sales volume is met by working with the company’s President and
Estimating Team and keeping them abreast to revenue reporting. Works Creatively with the team to ensure that targets are hit.
- Provides a consistent flow of new leads and relationships to the company in order to meet revenue targets
- Oversees & Assists with Course of Construction Estimating and Change Order Management
- Oversees Projects Contracting Phase and ensures the accuracy of estimating matches project scope of work and profitability
- Manages the Preconstruction Process including the review of Project Budgets, Submittals and
Material Procurement Preparation to ensure efficient handoff to field team

REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION AND ABILITY:
- Three years business-to-business account management and/or sales experience dealing with high- level management or executive decision makers
- Two years roofing and building exteriors knowledge
- Two years of general or specialty construction takeoff and estimating experience
- Experience and/or Ability to review large amounts of property reporting and visual data then utilizing information to clearly articulate consolidated information to client decision makers
- Highly Proficient in all Microsoft Office Products including Excel, Outlook and Word
- Experience and Ability to provide knowledge and value to business-to-business clients as a trusted consultant
- Experience in creating and maintaining long-distant client relationships with minimal to no physical meetings
- Exceptional listening skills
- Strong proposal and presentation development, and delivery skills
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- A strong understanding of the sales cycle required to sell large multi-location regional and national accounts

BASE SALARY: $65,000 - $100,000 per Year Sales Bonus Program
