Maintenance Technician - Samsung Washington DC

Job Description

Job Responsibilities

• Secondary POC to client/site occupants, property manager, sub-contracted services, vendors
• Assist Maintenance Lead in management of direct reports and/or sub-contracted service workers to include/not limited to: maintenance worker(s), day porter(s), A/V tech(s), IT
• Assist Site Lead maintaining overall appearance/operation of facility
  • Secondary liaison to building management/security for service calls, systems tests
  • Coordinate off-hours utilities
  • Oversight of day-time porter responsible for light cleaning
  • Complete small/medium scope repair/maintenance in client?s premises in accordance with building rules/regulations (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, AV, Signage, IT).
  • Coordinate large scope repair/maintenance
  • Coordinate post-event site maintenance
  • Coordinate vendor access
  • Control of execution of work, follow-up for quality assurance
• Assist with requisition of office/facility supplies supporting operations
• Assist with all Domestic/International, special shipping/receiving needs.
• Support VIP meeting, visit, other requests as directed.
• Support all other ad-hoc requests as directed.
• Assist with the Coordination of Events

Qualifications

• Min. 5 yrs. experience as Maint. Tech., Lead Mech., Maint. Sup., or equivalent
• Interpersonal/communication/customer service skills required
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, technical manuals.
• Demonstrated ability to learn maintenance skills.
• Ability to complete small/medium scope repair/maintenance activities.
• Skills in using predictive maintenance techniques, root cause analysis of equipment failures.
• Ability to gather data, information, prepare reports.
• Ability to provide technical guidance to non-technical/production operators.
• Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Email, Word, Excel)
• Valid Drivers License
• Ability to work second/third shift, holidays, weekends as required.
• Must be able to perform maintenance tasks including: climb ladders, work in confined spaces, stand for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs., etc.
