This job will be performed at our main office, located in White River Junction, Vermont, 72 South Main Street.
Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4 pm
The role of the HR Specialist is to research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of quality and capable talent for ARIS Solutions. Additionally, this position will play a key role in identifying, analyzing, and implementing process improvements across the organization. Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive efficiencies, reduce waste, and enhance overall productivity.
Essential Job Functions:

Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, employee referrals, etc.
- Conduct thorough candidate screening and assessment processes, including resume reviews, phone screenings, and in-person interviews. Coordinate interviews, ensuring a smooth and efficient interview process focused on the candidate experience.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with candidates and talent sources to create a pipeline of quality applicants.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in HR.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.

Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation with
- Collaborate with organizational leaders and team members to identify areas for improvement within processes, workflows, and systems.
- Shepard teams through change management processes by creating buy-in, excitement, and facilitating problem solving.
- Use data-driven approaches to measure and track the effectiveness of initiatives, providing regular updates.
- Assist in driving a culture of continuous improvement by promoting awareness, participation, and recognition.

Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.

Participate in development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and ongoing reports for company requirements.

Qualifications and Skills Level:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent years of experience in which comparable skills and knowledge have been acquired.
- 1-3 years of Human Resources related experience preferred; SHRM or other HR certifications are a plus.

Prior experience in continuous improvement or change management preferred (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, TQM, Kaizen, etc.)

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze and interpret data to drive decision-making.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.

Proactive and problem-solving mindset.

Familiarity with employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, diplomacy, and empathy.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment, while remaining highly organized and detail oriented

Familiarity with ATS software and HR information systems. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, including sourcing techniques, candidate assessment, and interview skills.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
