Job Description
- General troubleshooting and repair including basic carpentry
- Uses plumbing proficiency to complete work orders tied to plumbing
- Performs day-to-day activities of the maintenance mechanics to achieve safe, timely, and satisfactory work
- Assists other Maintenance team workers with their task
- Performs a variety of semiskilled general maintenance duties
- Completes paperwork for work orders as required
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician.
- Experience working with tools, including hand and electric tools.
- Basic working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electric systems.
- Demonstrates unwavering commitment to Occupational Safety policies and protocols.
- Performs minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls, etc.
- Check functionality of safety systems
- Perform necessary cleaning activities, such as dusting mopping, trash removal, etc.
- Directly troubleshoot mechanical systems
- Must be capable of adapting to changes and completing tasks in a timely manner.
- Must be capable of adhering to all biosecurity rules.
- Must be able to work some holidays.
- Perform any other duties as deemed necessary for the hatchery management.
