What are the responsibilities and job description for the Prep position at Calyx Senior Living?
Calyx Living is actively seeking energetic Preps for our BRAND NEW assisted living community! We are located in beautiful Fuquay-Varina, one of the fastest growing towns in North Carolina, and minutes from its two vibrant and historic downtown districts!
Calyx is looking to hire Preps to wash dishes and help prepare food items needed for the meal service while following the established menu, standardized recipes, portion control guides and food production time schedules. Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to washing dishes, food handling, preparing the kitchen for peak service times, and making sure cooks have adequate supplies during peak service.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous Prep experience preferred
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently during rush hours
- Ability to set goals and achieve them
- 1 to 2 years experience in food handling strongly preferred
- COVID-19 Vaccine and Booster Required
