The HR & Payroll Generalist will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of a comprehensive human resources program and for processing payroll on a biweekly basis in collaboration with the Finance team. The HR & Payroll Generalist reports to the Director of Human Resources, and works closely with the Program Directors and Managers on recruitment and other HR processes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle of recruitment efforts and implementation and maintenance of ATS.
- Provide new hire orientation and ensure great onboarding experience.
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 100 employees.
- Manage benefits enrollments and help employees navigate their benefits.
- Participate in DEI initiatives, collect and track demographics for employees and applicants.
- Support employee handbook and policy / compliance updates.
- Manage employee files and HRIS system.
- Facilitate employee performance review process and coordinates professional development goals for staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area
- 3 years' of experience working in Human Resources
- 2 years' of Payroll experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- HRIS / database experience, including running reports
- Experience working with a diverse workforce
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- PHR or SHRM-CP preferred
