Overview:
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Store Manager, this position is responsible for interacting with retail & wholesale auto parts customers to identify their needs, have excellent selling skills, and strengthen the overall relationship between Carquest Pacific LLC and the customer.
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Take order from customers over the phone and in person. Customer orders should be processed with a high degree of accuracy.
- Use the Exploris computer system for invoicing and catalog lookup of auto parts.
- Actively log all lost sales in the Exploris system.
- Assist in processing Weblink electronic orders.
- Maintain strong product knowledge of auto parts, warranties, promotions, and sales programs.
- Operate at all times within company guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Stock inventory and assist in housekeeping of the store and property.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have at least two (2) years of experience with automotive parts.
- Must have excellent communication skills and proper business etiquette.
- Must have good working knowledge of a aftermarket parts transactional system.
- Must be dependable and punctual.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Walking and moving about on foot.
- Handling: Picks up items; grasps and works with hands.
- Lifting: Raises or lowers items up to 60lbs.
- Reaching: Extends hands and arms in any direction.
- Stooping: Bends body downward and forward by bending at knees or waist.
- Standing: Remains in standing position if required to perform various functions of the job.
- Vision: Read paperwork and files on the computer.
- Talking: Communications by phone and in person.
