Job Overview: We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven In-House Account Manager to join our compounding pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and nurturing existing client relationships, driving upselling initiatives, and when possible, acquiring new accounts. The role requires exceptional communication skills and a proactive approach to meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Responsibilities
Account Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current active accounts.
- Regularly communicate with offices/providers to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction with our pharmacy services.
- Monitor account health and proactively address any issues or concerns.
Upselling:
- Identify opportunities for upselling additional pharmaceutical products or services to existing clients.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop targeted upselling strategies.
New Account Acquisition:
- Research and identify potential new accounts.
- Develop and implement strategies to attract and acquire new clients.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand the client base.
Product Knowledge:
- Stay current on the pharmacy’s services, medications, and overall operations.
- Provide clients with detailed information on our products, benefits, and competitive advantages.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal departments to address inquiries, resolve issues, and streamline processes.
Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activities, and account status in SalesForce.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (in a related field is a plus).
- Proven experience in account management, sales, or a related industry.
- Basic understanding of compounding pharmacy products and services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive and results-oriented approach to sales and relationship management.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in SalesForce is a plus, but not required.
