About the opportunity:We’re looking for Regional Sales Manager for our Sales Team in India. The primary objective of this role is to generate sales and oversee all sales and marketing activities of the portfolio within the designated territory. The role includes providing sales training, pre & post-sales support to regional dealers and developing market growth within the designated portfolio.   Responsibilities:   Understand the market well and develop own strategic business plan to capture greater market share and achieve sales objectives for portfolio. Maintain strong relationship with business partners to ensue strategic advantages over competitions. Provide market feedback via submission of monthly sales & market reports and forecasts to Director of Sales Review contractual agreements for partners and/or any tender documents qualification for bidding. Be the liaison between Product management in North America & partners/customers. To provide pre-sales and post-sales support as the liaison manager to dealers/customers Able to visualize sales goal and plan for desired outcome. Possess pragmatic ideas and contribute constructive feedback to the management team to capture greater market share for portfolio. Able to work closely with internal customers (Admin/TSO) to support sales objectives. Perform any additional duties assigned from time to time. Develop strong market knowledge in the product segment and be a lead advocator in specialized field. Constantly stay in-touch with the industry and understand his dealers’ business plan and assisting them in their execution. Regularly update dealers on new Christie product and business development, thus allowing them to keep current of our product and services. Attend dedicated Christie tradeshows/events/training to pick up necessary skills set to help him/her in his course of sales and support in the portfolio. Work closely with marketing team and initiate sales/marketing program jointly with dealers to promote product sales. Provide prompt and accurate market information such as competition and dealers operational development that helps the management team in making sound judgments and decision.   Take the pro-active role to promote unique/cutting edge solution that compliments product sales. Provide internal and external sales support to help generate overall sales growth for the company. Support cross portfolio sales activities for applications involving product/services. Initiate sales meeting between dealers & other portfolio managers for other business opportunities. Strong Business Acumen & Analytical Skills for strategic pricing and positioning Conversant with MS office, especially MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word   What will put you ahead:   Good presentation skills Good communication skills in both spoken and written English. Good listening and analytical skills Good knowledge in display technology and its application. Independent working style and Multitasking
