Technical Support Lead Analyst
IM Operations Monitoring
We are looking for Technical Support Lead Analyst to join our team in Nashville. The primary function of this role is to monitor the Information Management Systems operational status and performance of the processes in the various environments at the Level 1 support model. This position may also serve as a technical lead for the IT Operations Monitoring team. These systems include Microsoft SQL, Teradata, Informatica and ActiveBatch in the following environments: Production (Prod), Quality Analysis (QA), User Acceptance testing (UAT) and Integrated Testing Environment(ITE) .
Additional responsibilities:
- Job and system health active monitoring in all environments (QA, UAT, ITE, Prod)
- Level 1 and 2 support for failed processes. Team will perform initial assessments of the failed process and be able to triage and of needed contact the appropriate IM personnel to fix the issue.
- System support for non-production systems. Support includes assisting in deployments and project specific analysis to ensure code performance. Low level DBA tasks on non-production systems.
- Assist with managing the Active batch environment and deployments.
- Ad-hoc query performance tuning. Find and assist business users who have poorly performing queries and suggest ways to improve them.
- Data gathering for trend analysis of the systems to aid in long term performance and infrastructure needs specific to IM.
- Review Runbooks and assist in maintaining and creating IM process flow documents. Perform any other documentation requirements that arise.
- Provide support to the IT Operations team from a technical lead role. Guidance with SQL coding and systems process support will be a primary responsibility in this role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related discipline with an IT focus preferred or equivalent years of progressive experience.
- Exceptional verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Ability to work constructively in a team environment and provide support as a non-managerial lead.
- Candidate must possess skills related to qualitative and quantitative data analysis and tools generation; ability to take unrelated data sources and define/combine to meet information requirements for IT and Business evaluation and decision-making processes.
- Four or more years of programming experience using the MS SQL server development tools or equivalent education/work experience.
- Previous work experience with a healthcare / insurance company a plus.
