Position Summary
To safely operate slide attractions and to maintain the Aquatics Centers in a clean and presentable condition at all times. This is a part-time/seasonal position working approximately 25-40 hours/week. Evening, weekends and some holidays required.
Essential Job Functions
1. DISPATCH all guests properly through slide attractions and maintain a safe environment by enforcing all facility rules and regulations.
2. RESPONSIBLE for litter control around the pool deck area, restroom cleaning and maintenance, and keeping the general public areas of the Aquatics Centers in a clean and presentable condition at all times.
3. ASSIST the Pool Management Team in achieving the official goals established by the City of Hurst for the Aquatics Division.
4. Duties will be PERFORMED under the direct supervision of the Pool manager who will report to the Aquatics Management Team.
5. PERFORMS all other related duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions:
1. Ability to hear and respond to guests in emergency and non-emergency situations.
2. Ability to stand, bend, squat, kneel, push, pull, and stoop while performing job functions or other duties.
3. Ability to reach, lift and/or carry items up to 40 pounds.
4. Fine dexterity with fingers and hands required to handle items.
5. Majority of work is performed outdoors and is subject to extreme heat and sun. Work performed is subject to chemical hazards.
6. Work may be subject to time pressures, emergency situations, frequent changes to tasks, working closely with others as part of team, working alone 50% or more of the time, performing multiple tasks simultaneously, and dealing with difficult persons.
Minimum Education, Certification, and Experience Requirements
Minimum age is 16 years old. Previous grounds or building maintenance experience preferred.
