To join our team as a Residential Energy Auditor! You will act as a local on-site program and company representative to residential customers. Install energy-efficient equipment, conduct energy efficiency (re)audits, pre, and post-installation verifications, and other technical data gathering activities through a defined territory. Support Account Managers in their efforts to influence stakeholders to sell and/or install energy efficiency retrofits or new construction. Provide technical advice, guidance, and training on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement in accordance with client specifications. Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, and recommends solutions.

- Conduct basic energy metering of household appliances
- Identify opportunities for immediate energy savings in accordance with program guidelines and educate homeowners on the benefits of implementing these measures
- Ensure complete and accurate data collection at a site visit
- Enter the collected data in to program software
Excellent candidates for this role should have…
- A high school diploma is preferred.
- Strong customer service and enthusiasm for energy conservation. Ability to effectively communicate program offerings to customers. Ability to work independently, staying self-motivated and accountable even without regular supervision.
- Computer proficiency, experience with Windows-based office applications required.
- Familiarity with computerized building energy modeling software or other residential construction software preferred.
- Position requires flexibility to work evenings and some Saturdays. Travel to customer homes with own reliable transportation may be required daily.
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
- Ability to frequently lift 40 pounds, climb attic stairs and climb a small ladder to access workspaces. Ability to frequently crawl in awkward confined spaces required. Basic competency with a variety of small hand tools required.

- Candidates earn commission on measures installed during the assessment

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
