Human Resources Attorney
The Vice President, Human Resources (HR) Attorney is responsible for providing a broad range of legal support for HR legal matters involving Comerica Bank's people strategy and operations.

Position Responsibilities:
- Provide advice and counsel to management and Human Resources regarding compliance with existing employment laws and new legislation.
- Provide advice on employment-related matters, which may include: hiring and recruiting, investigations, discipline and termination, leaves of absence, disability accommodation, wage and hour, anti-discrimination, non-competition and non-solicitation, protection of confidential information, separation and release agreements, and other issues.
- Work with internal counsel to respond to employment litigation and interface with outside counsel on various matters, including immigration.
- Provide advice and counsel in other business areas and work on legal projects to improve business policies and processes.
- Represent and/or manage matters for the bank before state and federal administrative agencies, including the OFCCP, OSHA, the Wage and Hour Division, EEOC, state and local workforce and human rights agencies.
- Conduct or supervise Human Resources-related investigations and employment law related audits as needed, advise on evolving human capital disclosures, and contribute to other Human Resources initiatives.
