Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) is the flagship hospital of Community Medical Centers - a not-for-profit healthcare system based in Fresno, California, and the largest healthcare provider and private employer in central California. CRMC encompasses several additional campuses totaling 909 beds to offer the most comprehensive care to our region which includes; the Fresno Heart and Surgical Hospital, a behavioral health center, a subacute and transitional care center, a cancer center, and home health services.
CRMC is home to the only Level 1 Trauma Center and has the only comprehensive burn care in the Valley serving 2.5 million people within 9 counties. The 56,000 square-foot emergency department is one of the largest and busiest in the state. We have an 84 bed Level 3 NICU and a brand new pediatric specialty care unit. Future plans include building a women and children's facility on campus and expanding with 65 additional beds.

Responsibilities:
Identifies patient needs, maintains quality standards and provides basic patient care. The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) also partners with the Registered Nurse to perform skills, procedures and other tasks that are outside their clinical scope of practice.

Qualifications:
Education:
- High School Diploma, General Education Development (GED) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
- Completion of an accredited Vocational Nursing School program OR become licensed by equivalency required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Current State of California Licensed Vocational Nurse License required
- LVNIVTX - IV Therapy Certification (LVN) required within 180 days of hire or transfer into position
- Pay ranges listed are an estimate and subject to change.
- Per the CDPH order, all healthcare workers are required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 or have an approved exemption.
- If any bonuses are noted, they are only applicable to external hires meeting criteria.
