Door to Door Sales Representative

We (Comtex Communications) are looking for several commission focused Door 2 Door sales people to be independent reps.

• Product/Service: Residential internet service plans offered from Vyve Broadband
• Target Market: Homeowners, renters in single-family or multi-family units, potential switchers from other providers.
• Sales Process: secure residential internet contracts from home owners in the local community by greeting, presenting, and closing agreements.
• Introduce yourself as a representative of Comtex Communications.
• Briefly assess customer needs (speed, reliability, etc.)
• Present available plans and pricing options.
• Overcome objections and close the sale.
• Collect customer information for order processing.
• Reporting: Daily reports submitted to the designated manager via a GPS work tracking application.
• Required abilities
• Drivers license and access to a vehicle (daily)
• Walk 2-4 miles at a time and stand on feet for up to 4 hours
• Be confident when talking to new people and adapt to social situations
• Understand the foundations of sales and the required critical thinking and strategy skills to be successful
• $200 liquidity to be able to provide gasoline, and some startup costs

2. Deliverables

• Sales Goals:
• Minimum of 80 doors knocked per day (weather and location of homes permitting).
• Five closed sales per 7 day period

4. Compensation

• Base Pay: $100/day if you meet the door knocking and activity logging requirements
• Commission Structure:
• $100 for 1st sale, $150 for 2nd sale, $200 for 3rd sale in a one day period
• Reimbursement: None
• Payment Schedule: Weekly

5. Expectations

• Work Hours: Expected working hours 11am-8pm (flexibility may be considered based on performance) with ability to work weekends.
• Dress Code: Business casual attire
• Sales Materials:
• Company-provided sales scripts
• Brochures/flyers with plan details
• Tablet/smart phone device for presentations and order entry
• Training:
• Product knowledge training on the telecom companies' internet offerings
• Sales techniques and objection handling (to be provided)

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $40,844.34 - $80,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
