Connection has a fantastic opportunity through our Technical Staffing division for an IT Support Technician in New York, NY. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity and offers outstanding benefits.
Responsibilities
- User account setup and maintenance
- New user, computer, mobile device and peripheral setup, maintenance, and support
- Primary contact for user and systems support
- User training including security training
- Must be able to document problem resolutions within trouble tickets and maintain written documentation
- Monitor dashboards and respond to incidents/alerts
- System imaging and deployment
- Periodic travel to our satellite offices
- Perform other related duties as assigned or required
Min
USD $34.00/Hr.Max
USD $37.50/Hr.Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree (computer science or related technology field preferred); Will consider an associate degree with relevant certifications
- Relevant IT certifications highly desirable
- 3-5 years IT support experience in a Windows environment; professional office experience preferred
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong people and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in work
- Experience with Active Directory, Print Management, and Windows Server
- Proficiency with troubleshooting end user computer, mobile devices, remote access, and A/V issues, including hardware, software, network, and Windows OS
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
- Video conferencing (Zoom preferred)
