Utility Worker

Shift: Monday through Friday 12pm to 8pm

Position Overview

• Wash and sanitize kitchen smallwares, pots, pans, and other items in a timely and effective manner; aligning with the sanitation guidelines.
• Properly use and store chemicals associated with foodservice environments such as sanitizer, degreaser, dish detergent, glass cleaner, bleach etc.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen including counter tops, floors, kitchen equipment, etc.
• Light prep work involving basic knife skills to execute the cutting of fruit and vegetables for catered events, salad bar, daily specials
• Utilizing a foodservice cart to bring ingredients to and from the kitchen and storage areas
• Assisting with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house counters, features, salad bar etc
• Abiding by the local county sanitation and health code standards to confirm that we are serving food and beverages in a safe environment consistently
• Maintaining a clean and safe work station and kitchen by assisting in daily cleaning duties
• Any other duties assigned to you by the manager of the dining account

• Have reliable transportation to and from the work location
• Able to stand for the entire shift
• Able and willing to lift up to 45lbs (as needed)
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
