SUMMARY: The responsibility of the Residential Coordinator will function as a primary support for the overall administration and provision of residential services for individuals with intellectual disabilities. The position requires strong organizational skills, proficient problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, an ability to lead team efforts, and the capacity to work with developmentally disabled adults in a structured setting.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors, preferred. High School Diploma or GED required.
Prior experience in similar position preferred.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Must have the ability to work in high stress/ high volume environment, while maintaining open communication with other components of treatment and operations
Knowledge of DDS systems.
Knowledge of basic computer technology and software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
COVID-19 Vaccination.
Medication Certification through DDS must be acquired within six months of hire date and maintained throughout employment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide oversight of daily program operations for a housing program servicing individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Must be able to exercise efficient problem-solving and decision-making skills.
An ability to calmly respond to crisis and emergency situations.
Manage and maintain an account of all on-site and mandated staff training.
Effectively communicate with internal and external providers (including but not limited to; parents/guardians, DDS case management, residential and day program providers, nursing staff and other service providers).
Advocate in the best interest of the individuals being served.
Facilitates the staff interview and hiring process.
Conducts staff meetings and supervision.
Knowledge of therapy, is preferred.
Completes staff scheduling and delegates daily transportation assignments.
Track and document fiscal expenditures.
Responsible for the timely submission of timesheets to payroll.
Other duties as assigned.
SALARY: $45,000 - $50,000/ Annually
SCHEDULE: Full time: Monday - Friday (8:00am to 4:00 pm)
