TEAM LEADER/ SENIOR RESIDENCE COUNSELOR-CONTINGENT UPON AWARD

Dynamic Opportunity~ As a full-time employee, working 40 hour per week, a Team Leader/Senior Residence Counselor is responsible for assistance with collecting data for the Quality Improvement Plan within the program including but not limited to indicators, thresholds, outcome measures, goals, utilization of resources, engagement and client satisfaction.

The Guidance Center~ is a primary mental health support agency, providing compassionate, professional care for individuals and families with mental health needs in the greater Cumberland County, NJ area. For more than 60 years, our non-profit organization of professionals, doctors, nurses, therapists, and support staff, has assisted the community in the diagnosis and treatment of all types of mental illness.

What does this position look like~ A Team Leader/Residence Senior Counselor coordinates scheduling and programming. Provides direct services to residents. Is available for emergency situations and filling in at residences on an as needed basis. Advocates for residents. Collaborates with resident's and other treatment providers. Develops activities that support community integration. Develops treatment interventions that assist with recovery goals. Coordinates House Council meetings.

What you need to apply~

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in a related field or 5 years of proven experience in a residential setting or 5 years proven supervisory experience in the Human Services field.
• Knowledge of and experience with the SPMI population preferred.
• Valid automobile driver's license with MVR which meets agency standards.
