Position Overview
The Internal BDM will be responsible for creating repair quotes for customer equipment such as forklifts, sweepers, scrubber, and construction equipment. The Internal BDM works with the Service Team to handle all quote requests resulting from service calls and/or routine planned maintenance visits to customer sites. They will also work with the Sales Team and communicate with customers throughout the “Service Experience”. The goal is to improve Darr Equipment’s customer service objectives and expedite the repair time.
Major Job Duties
1. Responsible for researching parts and creating repair quotes with parts & labor pricing
2. Responsible for handling all PM write ups for quotes and delivering completed quotes to the BDM Team
3. Report quote status to BDM Team daily
4. Track and report completion time and close rate to management monthly
5. Assist with processing of approved quotes, ordering parts & making sure quotes get scheduled with dispatch team
6. Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
1. High School Diploma or GED
2. Must have prior experience researching parts. Retail experience in an auto parts store or equipment parts department is preferred
3. Must possess excellent organizational skills with attention-to-detail
4. Must be able to multi-task
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
6. Knowledge of Word and Excel
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
