The key deliverables for this HR Compliance Analyst role include responsibility for maintaining HR program related managing seamless delivery of all HR operational services, streamlining, standardizing and driving continuous improvement of all HR processes, expanding self-service capabilities and access to information tools, reporting and analytics. The position will be responsible for building a stronger infrastructure and a high performing team to support HR operations for DHL Express in the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Gathers & analyzes data via Excel/Access/PowerPivot on the following Programs: Fuel Cards, Amex, and PCard, and create reports enabling further actions based on the analysis of the report with emphasis on accuracy and process.
- Reconciliation and Invoicing for multiple HR vendors including but not limited to Relocation and Background Screening with attention to details in the Cost Center and Company views.
- Communicates and gathers feedback from other HR Functions to ensure HR Services is providing insight and support where and when necessary.
- Works closely and proactively with HR team to analyze data and identify trends between onboarding experiences, turnover, absenteeism, accident/injury rates, and performance and implement solutions
- Handles sensitive and confidential employee information
- Responding to various written and phone inquiries, such as employment verifications
- Tracking receipt of various types of documents via our Ticketing Email System
- Email notifications to various teams regarding paperwork receipt and/or follow up required
- Employee on-boarding assistance as needed (including I-9 preparation)
- Manage the employment process with assistance in completing new hire paperwork and on-boarding including related payroll administration
- Partner with HR Business Partners to facilitate knowledge transfer between Center of Excellence (COE) Personnel and Shared Services.
- Continuously evaluates existing work processes and prospective processes to ensure the most effective use of resources. Make recommendations for process improvements.
- Acts as the customer advocate for HR by representing the services in a positive manner. Proactively escalates issues to ensure the timeliest service.
- Accountable for creating service standards/metrics for all offerings and ensuring all service standards are met as per agreed Service Level Agreements
Skill & Qualifications:
- BS/BA in related discipline and 2-5 years of experience in a related field Or MS/MA in related discipline and 1-3 years of experience in a related field
- “Can do” attitude, results and customer oriented
- Extensive human resources operations and payroll knowledge
- Ability to work independently, resourceful and self-sufficient
- Ability to multi-task
- Attention to detail and accountability
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft (advanced Excel)
- Preferred DOT experience
- Ability to work with confidential information and maintain confidentiality at all times
