What are the responsibilities and job description for the Funeral Director Assistant/Removal Personnel position at Douglas Trade Service & Crematory?
Schedule: 4 person rotation.
1st Week-Report to office 8am-5pm. After 4pm, answer phones and dispatch. You will be 3rd up, which helps with overflow calls. During office hours you will answer phones, paperwork, maintain place of business and vehicles, operate crematory, coordinate in/out of town drives.
2nd Week-On call in van. 2nd up. Don't report to office. You'll respond from your residence. You will backup 1st up and help with overflow. Must be available 24 hours.
3rd Week-On call in van. 1st up. Don't report to the office. You'll respond from your residnece. Must be available 24 hours.
4th Week- 7 days off work.
Must be able to lift/move 100 lbs.
Required skills:
- Communicating with the families and funeral homes
- Dressed (Suit) in a professional manner
- Valid Drivers License
