Job Purpose
Principal objective is to support the overall plant manufacturing goals by providing timely, accurate and detailed analysis of operational data. Additionally, establishes standard and historical costs on all products and components; analyzes, investigates and interprets all variances to the established standard processes, and reconciles all inventory data to ensure company assets are fairly represented.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Designs databases, analyzes and reports on operational metrics, including inventory adjustments, manufacturing scrap, and labor efficiencies.
- Establishes and analyzes manufacturing cost standards.
- Develops monthly forecasts and annual budgets for product manufacturing costs.
- Prepares monthly journal entries for book close, reconciles inventory accounts, and functions as backup for controller.
- Plans, develops and implements inventory cycle count programs.
- Analyzes and reports on all manufacturing variances.
- Organizes, trains personnel, and directs annual plant Physical Inventory.
- Prepares corporate analysis/reports for annual sales/cogs detail and other items as requested.
