F.W. Webb, Northeast’s largest wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, HVAC and industrial supplies is seeking a full-time Outside Sales Representative - Water Works for our Latham, NY location.
Responsibilities:
Develop and grow sales with existing accounts as well as new accounts.
Identify barriers of opportunity
Call on customers on a regular basis
Maintain awareness of competitor activity
Work with inside sales and other branch personnel to meet customer needs
Complete required reporting such as scheduling, target accounts, call reports, expenses, etc.
Work with principals to exceed sales goals
Become a technical expert within the defined territory for principal products
Assist service team when required
Qualifications:
Prior experience in water systems sales preferred
Must be self-directed and display strong initiative to complete goals
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently
Strong presentation skills
Excellent follow through
Must be proficient at use of Excel and Word
Ability to multi-task, and participate in solving technically challenging situations.
