Position: As the Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with our business objectives. This leadership role requires a strong understanding of B2B software marketing, digital marketing, brand positioning, and demand generation. You will lead a team of marketers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support our product, sales, and customer success efforts. This role will lead their team to use effective marketing techniques to promote their presence in the marketplace and facilitate sales and retention goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute an integrated marketing strategy that aligns with business goals, focusing on driving customer acquisition, retention, and growth.
- Brand Development: Elevate and expand brand awareness through creative campaigns, consistent messaging, and targeted initiatives across multiple channels.
- Lead Generation: Drive demand generation and lead nurturing campaigns, including inbound and outbound marketing tactics, to deliver high-quality leads to the sales team.
- Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and content marketing, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
- Product Marketing: Collaborate with the product team to craft go-to-market strategies, define messaging and positioning, and ensure successful product launches.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow the marketing team, ensuring professional development and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget to maximize ROI and efficiently allocate resources across various initiatives.
- Analytics & Reporting: Set KPIs, track performance, and report on marketing activities, delivering insights and actionable recommendations to improve results.
Target Market : Banks and Credit Unions Nationwide
Location: Birmingham, AL (Hybrid position with 3-4 days in office and 1-2 days remote
Travel: Occasional travel is required for key conferences and trade shows.
Compensation: base salary bonus profit sharing and excellent benefits
Requirements :
- 10 years experience in Marketing - with 3 years of managing a Marketing team.
- Experience working for a SaaS company
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing preferred
- Experience attending industry conferences and executing user conferences
- Adobe (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), HubSpot, Google Suite and NetSuite Experience with strong graphic design skills
- Experience with JTBD (Jobs to be Done) Methodology would be an added bonus!
