What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service / Office Representative position at Frailey's Diesel Repair?
To our new team member,
Simply put you will be the face of our team. You will help our clients have a rewarding repair experience walking them and their vehicle through our process. You will work hand in hand with the parts department and with our mechanics to efficiently process estimates and invoices. We are a family run business with farmers and local businesses as our main clients. We take a laid back but caring approach to out business. We are looking for a dedicated Customer service rep who will be our main office person. Monday thru Friday 7 to 4 with 1 hour lunch at noon.
An ideal candidate is friendly and outgoing and is good with computer programs.

1. Customer Assistance: Provide exceptional customer service by listening to customer inquiries, assessing their needs, and offering appropriate solutions or guidance related to diesel repair services.
2. Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, both in person and over the phone, to understand their concerns, explain repair processes, provide estimates, and answer any questions they may have.
3. Service Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule service appointments for customers, ensuring efficient allocation of repair resources and timely completion of repairs.
4. Order Processing: Process repair orders and documentation accurately, including capturing customer information, vehicle details, and service requirements. Maintain proper records of customer interactions and repair progress.
5. Problem Resolution: Act as a liaison between the customer and the repair mechanics, promptly addressing any issues or concerns raised by the customer and working towards their resolution.
6. Technical Knowledge: Develop a solid understanding of diesel engines and repair processes to effectively communicate technical information to customers and assist them in making informed decisions.
7. Upselling and Cross-selling: Identify opportunities to promote additional services or products that could benefit the customer's vehicle or enhance its performance, thereby contributing to the business's revenue growth.
8. Customer Satisfaction: Strive to provide a positive customer experience by ensuring repairs are completed to the highest standards, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor, and seeking feedback to continuously improve service quality.
