Description
FS-Elliott is seeking a Technical Documentation Specialist responsible for the maintenance and coordination of technical documents, changing and updating records as appropriate, and producing Technical Manuals and Data Record Books for our Customers. Working collaboratively with other departments to ensure the timely and accurate execution of tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and complete customer-formatted technical manuals.
- Revise documents as new issues arise or product changes occur with direction from other departments.
- Publish and distribute technical documents, including Technical Manuals and Manufacturing Data Record Books.
- Coordinate printing and/or language translation of manuals
- Assemble, complete and issue service modifications technical manuals.
- Obtains materials from technical staff, edits and proofreads documents, to deliver accurate documentation within deadlines.
- Maintain controlled documents with revision control and secure submission to Customers on regular and timely basis.
- Comply with and improve upon documentation control management processes
- Revision control of supplier documentation. Along with expediting responsibilities.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Computer skills required: Microsoft Office 365 programs including Word, Adobe Acrobat, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Advanced documentation layout and formatting skills
- Excellent organizational skills to effectively prioritize duties and responsibilities; strong attention to detail; flexibility to adjust to changing priorities.
- Self-motivated, resourceful and adaptable; able to work independently within team focused environment.
- Strong understanding of how to create highly satisfied customers; firm commitment to customer service excellence in all circumstances.
- Solid verbal, writing, and grammatical skills.
- Ability to comprehend and communicate complex data.

Education: Associate's Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
