What are the responsibilities and job description for the PLC Maintenance Technician position at Gaska Tape Inc?
Want a four day work week? Monday through Thursday? Gaska Tape a leading innovator in manufacturing of closed-cell foams and adhesive foam tapes is seeking a PLC Maintenance Technician for our second shift.
This position will be responsible for the upkeep and funcutionality of all electrical equipment and systems in our 250,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility. This includes utilizing PLC as a tool to diagnose problems, preventative maintenance, as well as repair and/or installation of new or existing equipment and emergency trouble shooting.
Qualified candidates must have a High School diploma or GED and a minimum 2 years of experience in wiring and electrical machine repair in a manufacturing facility. Completion of an accredited electrical maintenance program, including Allen Bradley PLC course work is preferred. Ability to operate forklift and scissor lift is also required.
