Job Title: Certified Welder Department: PrestressReports to: Chris Tyler Effective Date: 6/13/2022Job Summary: This position is responsible for reading and understanding tickets and drawings, and welding to fabricate jobs as assigned. Ideal candidates will have two to four years experience in GMAW or certified AWS D1.1 and/or D1.4.Required Skills/Abilities: * Knowledge in use of cutting torch and plasma cutter / grinding* Must be able to pass test for G3 and Rebar * Be qualified (or able to be qualified) in GMAW or certified AWS D1.1 and/or D1.4 * Must be able to read and understand tickets and drawings * Must be able to read roller tape * Be creative, eager to learn, have good work ethic * Must be safety conscious * Welding experience required, but will train the right candidate * Perform additional duties as requested or requiredEducation and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent.At least one year related experience required.
