Currently, we are looking for Legal Assistants to add to our team. This specific team works with brand new cases almost immediately after they first come in the door at HLG. The goal of the team is to evaluate each case to see how we can help and to sleuth out some vital details to set clients up for success as their cases move through the full HLG experience.
We hire for culture fit first. But individuals in this position should have:
- A High School Diploma or GED and/or
- 1 year of HLG Legal Assistant experience (or equivalent).
The legal assistants we are looking for are responsible for tasks like:
- Working with the attorney to find the best path to successfully onboarding client cases.
- Contacting police authorities to verify or collect accident reports.
- Encouraging clients to seek medical treatment to confirm or document their injuries.
- Investigating the availability of insurance coverage surrounding client cases.
- Serving as a client's point of contact and following up on treatment status while under your purview.
- Managing and using Case Management Software and our proven processes – driving efficiencies, ensuring accuracy and clarity, and keeping the wheels moving.
