Behavioral Specialist

Job Description

Full-time, Direct Hire, Sign-On Bonus

A Behavior Specialist works with a team of clinical professionals to develop behavior plans for individuals with intellectual and/or other developmental disabilities. They work closely with the residential team providing training and supports to ensure continuity of care for the people who live at company.

Work with a variety of departments (clinical, residential and nursing) to develop, implement and evaluate behavior plans for the people that are supported at company.

Advocate for the individuals and assist them in achieving their best lives possible.

Must haves:

• A positive attitude and a demonstrated history of outstanding performance.
• Primary focus on fostering positive outcomes
• Exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication skills, managing the needs of both staff and individuals supported. Master’s degree in the fields of psychology or social work, or be certified as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
  
  

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience working with individuals with intellectual or other disabilities.
• Supervisory or leadership experience.
  
  

Salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000.
