Essential Duties Class I - Sanitation:
Filling Room
- Cleans the ceiling, walls and floors and area leading from the Filler Room to the Processing Room: Includes stairs to office.
- Cleans the table top conveyor lines, casers and full case conveyor leading to the pack area.
- Cleans the outside of the product storage tanks, chutes, equipment, the outside of pipelines and valves.
- Empty all trash containers.
- Operates the portable Foamer
- Operates the floor scrubber (rotary) and the Wet/Dry floor scrubber.
- Processing Room
- Cleans the ceiling, walls and floors.
- Cleans the outside of the product storage tanks, processing equipment, tank alcoves, the outside of pipe lines and valves.
- Empties all trash containers. Operate the trash compactor.
- Operates the portable Foamer
- Operates the floor scrubber (rotary) and the Wet/Dry floor scrubber.
- Dry Warehouse
- Cleans the walls and floors.
- Compact cardboard, tie it in bundles and stage in the warehouse.
- Empties all trash containers. Operates the trash compactor.
- Operates a fork truck.
- Operates the floor scrubber (rotary) and the Wet/Dry floor scrubber.
- Cleans any spilled liquid or dry product. Tapes any ripped bags of dry ingredient closed.
Restocks Hand Soap, Towels, Hairnets, Ear Plugs, etc.
Cooler
Use the Wet/Dry vacuum to clean the aisles in the cooler weekly.
SQF Requirements and Responsibilities
- Supports SQF by maintaining food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner.
- Reports food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
Physical Demands

Work Environment

Conditions of Employment

- Will complete tasks assigned by the Production Manager or Supervisor.
- Must be willing and able to work overtime when needed.
- Must be willing and able to work weekends or holidays as needed.
- Must proactively direct value-added work under slack conditions.
- Must be a team player.
- Must possess a full understanding and be in full compliance of all company policies and procedures including, but not limited to general safety rules, general work rules, good manufacturing practices (GMP's), harassment policy, drug and alcohol policy, etc.
