Description: Research Analyst, Full Time
Status / FLSA Status: Full Time / Exempt
Department: Institutional Effectiveness
Reports to: Dean of Institutional Effectiveness
Work Location: Main Campus, Oglesby, IL
Hours of Work: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; may be required to work additional hours beyond regular schedule
Salary Range: Exempt, starting salary $55,394 based on qualifications and experience, excellent benefits package
Position Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Dean of Institutional Effectiveness, the Research Analyst is responsible for conducting research studies, analyzing data, and generating reports to inform strategic planning, policy development, and program improvement efforts at the college. This position works to support the college through strong analytical and communication skills.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent course work or experience required; Bachelor’s in Business, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, and/or Mathematics/Statistics preferred. Data mining, data analysis, and database management experience preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills to present complex information in a clear and concise manner required. Strong technical skills: Required: Microsoft Office products Preferred: SIS/ERP software (Colleague or similar), programming language (SQL, R, Python or similar), statistical analysis software (SPSS or similar), Tableau, Power BI, SSRS. Attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness required. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as needed, required.
