The responsibilities of this seasonal full-time position include:

• Oversee the daily operations of the parts department, including inventory management, ordering, and stocking of marine parts and accessories.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting boaters in identifying the correct parts and accessories for their specific needs.
• Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure seamless coordination of parts for boat sales and service.
• Implement effective inventory control measures, conducting regular audits, and optimizing stock levels to meet customer demands.
• Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, negotiating pricing and terms to secure competitive deals and maintain profitability.
• Develop and execute strategies to drive parts department sales and profitability, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Ensure the parts department is well-organized, clean, and visually appealing, enhancing the overall shopping experience for customers.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of marine parts and accessories, with a passion for boating and the boating industry.
• Proven experience in parts management or a related field, showcasing strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively interact with customers, vendors, and team members.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and basic computer skills.
• Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 pounds) as required.
• Availability to work full-time hours during the boating season, including weekends and holidays.
